Reiki & Energy Work
Conception, pregnancy, and Matrescence all create shifts. Through each change, we can feel off balance.
Reiki aims to restore this balance, making us feel at home in the changes.
Reiki is a gentle, healing practice that works with the body’s energy to restore balance and promote well-being. Similar to acupuncture, minus the needles, reiki is used in over 60 hospitals to support emotional and physical health.
The Healing Touch Professional Association estimates that 30,000 nurses in US hospitals use reiki to release stress, improve well-being, and facilitate healing every year.
What to Expect During a Reiki Session
Energy Healing & Balancing: We’ll focus on clearing any blockages in your energy centers, or chakras, to restore a smooth, balanced flow of energy throughout your body. Together, we’ll release tension and fortify your vitality.
Light Touch or No Touch: Reiki can be given through a soft touch or just above your body. You’ll choose the method that feels most comfortable and soothing for you.
In-Person or Virtual: Reiki sessions can be held in person, allowing for direct contact. We can also hold them virtually — where energy is guided from a distance. Both ways are designed to bring you peace and healing.

Together, we’ll decide which at-home practices you’d like to try out. Each exercise will take a max of 15 minutes each day — even as little as 7 minutes — so you can easily incorporate it into your routine.
All you need to do is breathe and take a few moments for yourself. Soon enough, you’ll experience the benefits of taking care of you, too.

Breathwork: Simple breathing practices help you breathe through stress, find calm, and regulate your nervous system, making it easier to manage the demands of motherhood.
